Using his signature hake brush, his aim is to produce strong and colorful paintings with an economy of strokes and a limited palette. He teaches freedom of expression and simplicity. You will learn how to paint decisively and quickly. Ron not only does several demos each day, but works with each student on a one to one basis. Strong design principles are emphasized, and his English sense of humor keeps the class laughing. Ron is an English artist, teacher, and author, who has recently moved from England to Portland, Oregon. He is one of the world’s most traveled watercolor teachers, giving workshops and private lessons to students on every continent for many years. Ron is a seemingly tireless watercolorist, with a worldwide reputation, having written over 25 books on painting and made many instructional videos that are sold throughout the world.
